What is it about the search for a better to-do app? I have tried at least that many if not more. Looking forward to hearing if it sticks.
I have found that Microsoft has updated their ToDo app to a point that it is now my go to for my work lists. The key being to that it is now integrated into the desktop Outlook app. If you flag an email, it is automatically added to your ToDos.
see, this is exactly how you can use superlist: just star an email and it get's moved there. I'm an old-fashioned kind of guy, I always let other people send me a bunch of aggressive emails and then I take care of it. Saves me the to-do list :)
