I wave/nod/say hello to every single runner I see (and that one lady who speed-walks in my neighborhood). I mostly just get the side-eye but I don’t care. It’s my way of saying “It costs you nothing to be polite. WAVE AT YOUR FELLOW RUNNERS GODDAMN IT.” 😁

we have one route here that is very popular and nobody ever greets anyone. but if you run somewehere else, people do greet you.
