I like this time before christmas, when you sense the excitement growing and the kids are getting anxious. We even had some snow today, which looked really beautiful for a whole quarter of an hour before everything turned into rain again. I also officially started the christmas season by having a can of Tuborg Christmas Pilsener, yet another wonderful tradition in Northern Germany, or at least in my family. It still feels weird to watch soccer while my wife and the kids are baking christmas cookies, but I guess we all need to be flexible these days.
