Hello again, and welcome back to Five Things Tech!
This week we’ll take a closer look at the startup ecosystem. First, you can read an article about Y Combinator and how this accelerator is structured and why it is so successful. Having run an accelerator myself before, I’m in awe at how well Y Combinator has performed over the years. Then you can read about the ups and downs of starting a company, finding the right path forward and circumventing all the obstacles. As I find tech infrastructure really interesting, I picked out an article detailing the setup of the hyperscaler infrastructure at Meta. Not all VC investments are successful, but oftentimes the terminology used to describe the events are deceiving. And finally: people are not buying Teslas anymore in Europe. And I can totally understand their decisions.
