Five Things Tech: Quantum, VC Thinking, Boring Technology, 1990s, Airplane WIFI
Everything you should read about Tech right now.
Hello again, and welcome back to Five Things Tech!
Quantum Computing truly fascinates me. The possibility to do enormous calculations that would take forever on normal computing hardware is mind-boggling, especially when you factor in the issue of errors. It’s that you could just take a result and simply run it through ordinary computers, unless you want to wait a few years for the results. And what exactly will Quantum Computing be used for in the possibly near future? Is it a solution looking for a problem, or are there problems that cannot be solved without Quantum?
This is one of the topics in this edition of Five Things Tech - the other topics are no less interesting: how independent are VC in their thinking? Why does boring technology matter? What can we learn from the 1990s when we look at the current tech boom? And why is Airline WIFI still so bad?
Read it now and find out!
Enjoy!
