Five Things Tech: Quantum, European Startups, RedNote, Oura, Oxygen
Everything you should read about Tech right now.
Hello again, and welcome back to Five Things Tech!
Tech Bros seem to be quite happy about Trump as the next president as they want to be part of the broligarchy that rules the USA and gets to extract as much money as possible while doing it. It’s going to be interesting how this will effect the startup ecosystem in Silicon Valley. Even more interesting will be how Europe reacts to this. I’m certain some founders will think about relocating to the USA to benefit from a President that wants to push forward on AI as he wants to win the race against China (and everyone else) at all costs. So they will find the regulation in Europe somewhat limiting. The opposite is true. If you can build a product within the European regulatory framework, you’ll succeed everywhere else as well. Also, we shouldn’t panic because Trump threatens to impose tariffs, that’s his way of trying to get his way. We have seen this before and it is pretty ugly.
In this edition of Five Things Tech you can read more about the current interest in quantum stocks, you’ll find out some reactions among European startups regarding Trump, and you can read about RedNote and TikTok, find out about the one tech gadget that is really cool and helpful at the same time, and also learn about getting oxygen on the moon.
