Five Things Tech: Humane, Regulation, Trust and Safety as a Service, Tech, Whatsapp
This Saturday Morning is ideal to read up on Tech!
Is the palm of your hand really the next cool user interface we have all been waiting for? For years the tech companies tried to sell us voice as the next big thing, but so far the usefulness was very limited. We have one Alexa powered speaker in the bathroom and that is really handy for choosing music while in the shower. Other than that, we don’t use any voice-powered tools. Will we now just look into the palms of our hands to figure out how the weather is? I doubt it, but I love how this drives innovation forward and I’m rooting for the company to figure out something that is actually useful. Also, I’m not sure I yet need another gadget that I need to charge and that wants my attention somehow.
Humane is just one big thing happening in tech this week, so dig into the five articles from this weeks Five Things Tech now!
(if you like what I write here, please consider a paid subscription, so that I can buy a $699 clip on gadget that I can use with my palm and fingers…)

Mark Zuckerberg Taps the Strengths of WhatsApp
Whatsapp essentially hasn’t changed much and still has a pretty underwhelming user experience, which apparently gets trumped by the lock-in effect produced by everybody and their mother using Whatsapp. Let’s how Whatsapp will change now that is supposed to generate a lot more money.
