Five Things Tech: High-Performance Computing, Brain-Implants, 3D Tissue Printers, RoboBugs, Humanoids
Everything you should read about Tech right now.
Hello again, and welcome back to Five Things Tech!
Today, let’s look at some fascinating topics. It came a bit as a surprise to me that High-Performance Computing is actually a challenge in the USA right now and that Europe is showing strong progress in this field. I am also fascinated by Brain-computer interfaces and even while I know how this could help people, I am pretty certain that I won’t want this for myself. It’s also quite interesting how 3D tissue printers now can perform inside of bodies, which is mind-blowing, at least to me. Do we want to live in a world where we can have robobugs flying around? I sure don’t, but it is technically possible and sounds like bizarre science-fiction. Talking about bizarre, while I find social robots for home usage quite interesting, I don’t want to have a humanoid running around my house. Unless of course, the humanoid could unload the dishwasher.
Enjoy!
