Long gone, DEC is still powering the world of computing
In 1977 Ken Olsen famously quipped: “There is no reason for any individual to have a computer in his home." It’s kind of ironic that the company Ken Olsen co-founded in 1957 still is around in so many ways. I always thought DEC was long gone.
