Five Things Tech: Alternative Devices, Neuromorphic Computing, Quantum Entanglement, Healthcare 3D Printing, Home Cooking Apps
Everything you should read about Tech right now.
Hello again, and welcome back to Five Things Tech!
This Friday I got a tour of the Quantum Computing facilities at the University of Hamburg, including a brief introduction into Quantum Computing by Prof. Dr. Henning Moritz. After that we went to the lab and had a detailed look at the setup of the Quantum Computer Rymax One. I have to admit that I didn’t really understand all of the explanations around atoms, qubits, lasers, and what not, but it was really exciting to get a first hand glimpse of what is going on in this part of high tech research. It is just really fascinating stuff and I am sure that the Quantum Computers that are currently being developed at the University of Hamburg will soon be crunching numbers for more real-life challenges than just a few pilot cases.

And if you think that you have grasped Quantum Computing, then please read about neuromorphic computing. And 3D printing, and alternative devices. And then start building your own apps.
Enjoy!
