Five Things Tech: AI Robots, Digital Trust, Turing Test 2.0, Tesla Batteries, 1 Billion $ for Layoffs
Tech makes the world go round.
It’s Saturday. Before you head out of the door to get all the chores done, sit down, grab a coffee and read my selection of articles about recent developments in tech.
While we have all those advances in tech, we don’t see jobs disappearing - quite the contrary. We increase productivity and create more jobs. Of course, lots of jobs will be killed in the future, but somehow all this automation has not yet led to the robots taking over everywhere.

Companies Need to Prove They Can Be Trusted with Technology
Digital Trust is not a new concept, but it is now more necessary than ever. Can we trust Big Tech? What do we need to be able to trust the companies who shape the digital future?
ChatGPT broke the Turing test — the race is on for new ways to assess AI
The good old Turing test used to be the one way to distinguish between human and machine. Thanks to ChatGPT, we need new ways to find out who we’re talking to. Regenerate Response.
Tesla Sold a Myth About Batteries That Everyone Wanted to Be True
Who would have thought that Tesla would ever bend the rules? It’s obvious that when the first EV hit the market, people feared that they would not be able to reach the next charger. The way Tesla handled this issue doesn’t surprise me at all.
Meta has already spent $1 billion this year laying off workers
What a bizarre amount of money to spend in order to get rid of employees who were partly hired because Big Tech felt that they needed to hire all available talent on the market so that other companies couldn’t hire them.
