Five Things Running: Issue #54
Last week, something magic happened in Frozen Head State Park in Tennessee! Jasmin Paris is the first female finisher of the Barkley Marathons. What a great achievement!
Hello and welcome to Five Things Running!
Last Sunday I stopped my running streak after 76 consecutive days. Running every day was really good for me, but now my body needed a break. Also, I needed less pressure.
I only ran once last week, which is kind of weird after running daily before that. And now I have to find a new rhythm that doesn’t involve daily running, but a better dosage. We’ll see how that works out.
I’m still doing two streaks: no alcohol since the beginning of the year. And I’m on a 111 day streak learning Hebrew on Duolingo. It’s interesting how fast new patterns get formed.
How’s your running?
