Last week I fought with what German wives affectionately call “tödlicher Männerschnupfen” - deadly men’s flu. I think I’ll survive it, but I hate that I couldn’t run for a whole week, instead I spent my time sneezing, coughing and moaning. Mostly moaning, though. Like a man!
Anyhow, we had amazing fall weather for running. Mostly rain, also some storm. But I did get to read about running a bit.

I’m a big fan of rural Iowa - the endless corn fields and hog farms, just interrupted by soy bean fields. Pure beauty. But I guess one has to have to live there to really appreciate it. Anyhow, the running relay sounds like a fun adventure!

It’s so interesting to see more and more studies about the mental benefits of running. I can totally relate to these findings as I always feel better after a run - physically exhausted, but mentally I feel so relaxed.
