Thanks for reading Five Things Running - my name is Nico and I love running. I also happen to read a lot of stuff about running which I do to compensate for not running.
500 meters of elevation gain, this is what I did on Friday morning. I know that for a lot of people this doesn’t sound like much, but when I run 10km at home, the elevation gain is about 25m. So this was really a lot for me and I can still feel it in my legs. I had a short business trip to the Black Forest and managed to sneak in a run to the top of a hill outside of Baden-Baden. I really wish there were more hills in Northern Germany, so that I could do more of these runs.

The Best Running Tips of All Time
Some tips might seem obvious, but this is a really good collection of running tips. I’m still working on becoming an aerobic monster, but I managed to not run when I’m injured instead of just ignoring it and hoping that the injury might go away if I just run it out.
Slow Is the New Fast: More Runners Are Happily Plodding Along

So a certain stack height is deemed “illegal”? That makes it even more interesting for some people. I find it fascinating how running shows constantly get more tweaks and innovations.
That’s all for now! I hope your Sunday runs were longer than mine!
Happy birthday, Nico!
As somebody who lives in a hill, I appreciate your elevation gain. However, I do not subscribe to "hills pay the bills" because they all get sent to me, not the hill.
