So today my wife made me visit a dahlia garden, which was pretty uneventful, but I started humming along an old tune by Daliah Lavi while my wife was looking at the flowers and then I started to think about what it must have been like to be a superstar from Israel in Germany in the early 70s. Apparently this was nothing anyone talked about back then, but still this captured my attention for most of the afternoon and I spent some time reading up on Daliah Lavi, whose German songs I remember from my childhood. And yes, I have "Oh, wann kommst Du?" stuck in my head and made my teenage girl listen to it as I drove her to a party in the evening. She didn't really approve and my "singing" along probably didn't help, either.Well, aside from that, I picked once again five articles I found interesting this week. I hope you enjoy them or at least find them thought-provoking.
