I know you're confused about the subject, but I picked five articles.
So this week was all about the first steps into regulating AI. This is a massive undertaking, given the current state of development of AI. Things are moving quickly and regulation has to anticipate the direction. Regulation will be critized for being too lenient or too strict and Elon Musk will flip-flop on this issue a couple of times, depending on how he thinks the regulation will have effects on his business.
We’ll see how this will evolve. The EU started to move into regulating AI, then Biden stepped up, now Sunak tries to be the moderator between the blocs. Let’s see what the next steps will be.

Attenuating Innovation (AI)
Ben Thompson is not too happy about the current AI regulation: “We should accelerate innovation, not attenuate it. Innovation — technology, broadly speaking — is the only way to grow the pie, and to solve the problems we face that actually exist in any sort of knowable way, from climate change to China, from pandemics to poverty, and from diseases to demographics.”
