Do you remember the time over a year ago, when people new about artificial intelligence, but nobody talked or wrote about it? I started investing in AI companies over 7 years ago and of course plenty of others did so a lot earlier than I did. But nobody really cared about the tech. Now, everything is about AI, almost like everything was about crypto a few years ago. The difference is huge, though. Most people didn’t understand the potential usecases around crypto, but most people figure out how useful GenerativeAI can be.
So one year after the launch, we are at the peak of the hype. Let’s see how long it takes until we figure out the path to productivity, according to Gartner and its hypecycle.
