Christmas and AI. What a match!

Heya and welcome back to Five Things AI!

After a few days of eating too many Christmas cookies and plenty of other food, it’s time to read up on what’s happening in AI.

What I find fascinating: hallucinating AI can lead to scientific breakthroughs, which reminds me a lot of the advancements when scientists played around with LSD back in the days.

Also, would you want to talk to your pets? There was a series of children’s book about a girl who could talk to animals and my daughters like that a lot. And now this could be possible, thanks to AI.
