Here we go AIgain!

Heya and welcome back to Five Things AI!

Next week the World Economic Forum will take place in Davos and something else will take place in Washington, D.C., but both events will have a huge impact on AI. So much capital has been deployed not only on Large Language Models, but also on data-centers, new AI chips, AI startups, AI education, AI PC and what not. In fact, a whole new cottage industry has been developed in the last few years. To some extend, it feels like AI is still hoping to find the big usecases, while at the same time, AI has been deployed in so many companies to rapidly improve efficiency and productivity. I am sure that Agentic AI will be a huge next wave and many companies will regret investing too much too early in working with LLM.

We will see, I guess. But will you wait and see or act and see? This is the big question many CIO face at the moment, while they probably also realize that the digital transformation of the company is far from complete. We need to get faster as AI doesn’t wait.
