Five Things AI: AI Race, AI-first, Adsense, Frontier Firm, AI Benchmarks
All you need to read about AI this week.
Heya and welcome back to Five Things AI!
Yesterday was May Day and this is labour day in most parts of the world, so it is only fitting to talk about the impact of AI on the workspace. We don’t know how exactly AI will change the way we work, but I’m sure the impact will be massive. And I am not saying that AI will take our jobs away, it will most likely totally redefine them. I know that lots of jobs are already on the line, especially those that deal with repetitive tasks like graphic resizing, paralegal work or coding. But for most people, AI will be more likely be Augmented Intelligence, it doesn’t take over our jobs, it just assists as a really powerful tool and helps us getting more done in less time. We will also see AI be something like a co-worker who has unlimited resources and patience.
As always, William S. Gibson is right about the speed of development in tech: “The future is already here, it is just unevenly distributed.” - we see that already: some companies struggle with basic AI assistance while others already implement Agentic AI to take over tasks and reinterpret the processes of the company.
What do you think how the workforce will change? Is AI taking over or will it make us more productive and take away the mundane tasks?
Here are the Five Things AI for this week! Read on, my dear!
