It might look like AI is slowing down right now or that company leaders are having a reckoning about the true benefits of AI. There are news that big data centers in China are under-utilized or that companies are hiring again for roles that previously got replaced by AI.

It is not slowing down. Not at all. This is just what happens every time a new technology gets developed. People embrace it, push for implementations and then realize that unintended side-effects appear. Then it is time to reassess everything and come up with new solutions. This is what’s happening right now. Also, Saudi-Arabia and UAE are throwing tons of money onto their own developments, which will of course spark new use-cases for AI. The race is getting tighter.
